A Pink Butterfly

Oh, this summer has been flying by!  I've taken a break from posting

cards to just enjoy our short summer here in Wisconsin.  I really liked

how this card turned out, and it qualifies for three challenges.  I am

entering it at CASology for the cue word of "running."  I used a 

running stitch.  I really liked this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  

It's CAS and monochromatic for the challenge at The Paper Players.
I realize it's fairly close to Jen's card, I hope that's okay.

I will be giving it to my Mom for her birthday, and her favorite
color is pink.

A Trendy Tree Valentine

A CAS Valentine for two challenges at Addicted to CAS and

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  At Addicted to CAS the 

cue word is "Love."  At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, the 

challenge is to use a heart.  I have at least a thousand ; ).  The pink panel

under the tree has very small hearts.  This is the second week I used the 

sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and missed the deadline.  The first week

was my fault, I didn't give myself enough time.  This week however blogger 

was not cooperating, as it would not post the picture of my card after several 

attempts.  Finally I deleted the whole post, and turned off the computer, and 

then started over completely.

Love You

Oh, it seems like forever since I have made a card.  This

one was quite easy, and I made it for three challenges.

At Addicted to CAS the cue word is "die cuts,"  which

is just perfect for me, as I often make cards with no 

stamping and only die cuts.  At CASology the cue word

is "bubbly," and I chose an embossing folder with tiny bubbles.

The sketch at Freshly Made Sketches is another classic,

that I definitely will use again.  We have finally moved out

of the deep freeze that affected the midwest ~ actually most
of the country ~ yippee.  We're having a heat wave today ~
in the 30's!  I think the low in our area of Wisconsin
was about 47 below with the wind chill.

Freshly Made Sketches & The Paper Players

A generic card sans sentiment for the sketch challenge 

at Freshly Made Sketches and the CAS project with leaves 

theme at The Paper Players. My leaves are in the patterned 

paper, as well as, on the embossed panels.  I like to have cards

on hand with no sentiment to use for birthdays, get well or

thinking of you.  Combining these two challenges on a recent 

post produced an honorable mention for both challenges ~

Christmas Blessings

A Christmas card for challenges at CASology, CAS-ual Fridays

and Freshly Made Sketches.  At CASology the cue word is "brown,"

and at CAS-ual Fridays the challenge is to use embossing.  I tend to 

like bright colors, but I really like how this brown and neutral

Christmas card turned out.

In real life the glitter paper is almost exactly the same color as

the fine linen patterned paper.  In the photo the colors seem to clash.
