So Proud of You

I made this late Friday night, but have not had time to post it yet.
After snow flurries on Thursday, I wasn't about to waste
the wonderful weather we had this past weekend.
This card is for my niece who just passed her driver's test.

I used the fabulous sketch by Deanna Jean at Retro Sketches

(unfortunately I missed this deadline) and colors at 

Play Date Cafe.  I will also be entering this card

at A Passion for Papertrey for their "Let's Celebrate"

challenge.  This is my second for that challenge; my

April PTI Blog Hop

It's time again for the PTI Blog Hop ~ this month the

focus is on tilting ~ designing on an angle.  I combined

challenges as usual.  For the first card I used the colors 

at ColourQ, and for the second I used the "Let's Celebrate"

challenge at A Passion for Papertrey.  I had a fun discovery

recently when I realized I could use shiny confetti on my 

cards just like sequins.

Ahhh ... serendipity ... when a card I was already making ~

works quite nicely for another challenge.  I am just making 

it for the deadline at CAS(E) this Sketch and this card fits in

quite nicely at CASology for their cue word of "giggle."

I am also posting this at the 52 Card Pickup where as a

always ~ anything goes.  I computer generated the 

"are Tee-rific" to make it fit the word window punch.

"smile" from travel thinking about how many times I tell

my son to "smile" for pictures when we travel.

A CAS birthday card for the glitter challenge at

While the colors definitely seem "boy" to me, I am hoping 

its still "boyish" enough even with the glitter and sequins.

The sequins are actually the exact same color as the ink IRL.

A Quick Hostess Gift

A happy surprise that the negative die cut challenge at 

A Passion for Papertrey has been extended for another 

week.  I made these for a quick hostess gift to give on 

Easter.  I CASE'd my own cards here.  This is my second 

entry for the challenge; my first entry is here.

I am also entering these at The 52 Card Pickup.

Making these as a negative die cut is easier than 

tying to glue the letter on straight ;).

I took my son and his friend to the Milwaukee Public Museum 

today to see the "Real Pirates" exhibit. Even though they were

trying to show their "mean pirate faces," this makes me smile.
