Every year I make Halloween treats for the families of
the babies in our NICU. I usually make at least 24, so
this is never anything too fancy. I am posting these at
The Paper Players for their Halloween treat holder challenge.
I actually made these last year using tin containers that I found at
a rummage sale. I paid only a dollar for the mini tins, and I
think there were about 30; I filled them with M & M's.
Supplies ~
Stamp: PTI 2009 Halloween Tags
Paper: SU Whisper White & Tangerine Tango
Ink: SU Tangerine Tango
Punches: EK Success 1 3/4 " Circle & 2" Scalloped Circle
Additional Supplies: SU Tangerine Tango Ribbon & Spider stickers from Michaels
This year I totally cheated and only cut and scored Halloween paper,
rounded the corners and then added stickers. I filled them
with snack size bags of candy bars. Last year I ended up
needing over 30, so I made 30 for this year ~ hope that's enough!
This was a good way to use some of my older Halloween paper ;).
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What cute tins, Jean! Love the spiderweb and cute little black shiny spider. I'm sure the recipients loved them! Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable project, Jean! What a bargain on those tins too. Love the glossy spider...so thoughtful of you to make for the families! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteThese projects are so amazing!! How sweet of you to do this for the parents of a NICU baby!! Something "happy" to get their mind off their surroundings is always appreciated!! Our second son was in the NICU for 6wks, and the generosity of people like you helped the time go by before we got to bring him home!! Thank you!!!!
