A Christmas Thank You

A Christmas thank you card that just happens to
work for the CASology "Dot" challenge this week.
(I honestly did not make it for any challenge!)
There are a few dots on one of the ornaments.
I am also entering this at Simon Says Stamp!
Monday Challenge where anything goes.
I know I have been MIA lately in blogland.
Work is really busy and my son is in the middle of
wrestling season, so not much free time for
card making or blogging.  I am also trying to
re-organize my stamping supplies.  I finally found
a system that I am happy with for my dies and clear
stamps. I will post that after I am done.  I have taken
parts of systems that I have seen posted on other blog
and Pinterest.  I am hoping to get in one more post
today with the Valentines that I am making for work.

Supplies ~
Stamp:  Printworks Watercolor Ornaments (an older one made in 2000)
Paper:  PTI Rustic White
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, various Copics, at you Spica gold pen

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Santa Gift Card Holders

I made several gift card holders this Christmas.  Many were given
as part of a gift.  I made approximately thirty in seven different
patterned papers here. These two were made using the colors at
Dynamic Duos, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and glitter paper.
I am also entering them at Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge
for their "Bling It On Challenge." The idea for came these from here.  I
used the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board, cherry cobbler
and basic black cardstock along with silver and gold glitter paper.

The gift cards were included in the gift wrapping supplies, with the saying
"Here's a little something to help you get all wrapped up in the spirit of the season."
I got the idea on Pinterest.  This gift was very well received.  I will definitely be
doing this one again.  I watched for sales on everything ~ the scissors, tape, gift
bags, tags, and candle.  I made the hot chocolate mix using this recipe.  It is
very rich and creamy, and has nothing partially hydrogenated.

Baby's First Christmas

Every year I make first Christmas ornaments for the
babies in the NICU I work at.  The patterned papers
I used were older ones from my stash.  The words were
computer generated.  The rosette is from Tim Holtz ~
the Mini Paper Rosettes, and the back of the ornament
is a 3" scallop circle punch from EK Success.

I will be at work all day on Christmas with the babies.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!

Reindeer Food

Every year I make reindeer food for the babies in the NICU
I work at to give their siblings.  There are many slightly
different poems to go along with the reindeer food.  It is
a tented package with the poem on the back.
Even though there is only a little bling on their noses,
I am going to link up Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge
for their "Bling It on Challenge."

Here are two of the versions of the Reindeer Food Poem.
Feel free to copy either if you would like to use them.

Be sure to take this magic food and sprinkle on the lawn,
On Christmas Eve, Santa's reindeer travel miles before the dawn.
The smell of oats and glitter path will guide them on their way,
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts on Christmas Day!

Just a sprinkle on the lawn at night,
and the moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam,
this treat will guide them to your home.

Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff

Eight cards for four challenges ~ all using the sketch from
CAS(E) this Sketch.  I had a very similar card in mind when
I had to buy the Tinsel 'N Trim set from Reverse Confetti ~
just to use this fun sentiment "Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff."
I love snowflakes and even better ~ glittery snowflakes.  I don't
consider even one of these cards to have traditional Christmas
colors.  I made them for specific people using their favorite
colors.  I also made two for the current color challenge at
Dynamic Duos to use Black and Smoky Slate with the
Dessert Option of Christmas.  CAS-ual Fridays and
week for a CAS Christmas theme.   Sorry, I do not have any
CAS-ual Fridays Christmas stamps.  I went with the
snowflakes on the Christmas tree in the inspiration photo.
