A PTI Sketch

A quick card for the festivities at Papertrey Ink for
their sixth anniversary using one of Nichole's sketch's
and the colors at Color Throwdown.  I just purchased
some very fun washi tape at a local craft store,
and used that for the stripes. This is a great design
for my ever growing washi tape collection ;~).

Thinking of You

I love purple, so I had to play along with the color
challenge at Color Throwdown.  The long panel has
Old Olive as its background, so I substituted that in place
of the Garden Green, since they offered us the option not
to use the exact colors.  I used the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch.
I paper pieced the flowers, so I will also enter it at Simon Says Stamp.
This is my second entry at Simon Says Stamp, the first one is my previous post.

Grunge Me ... Again!

Another thank you card for my son to send using the colors at Color Throwdown.
I am also entering it at A Passion for Papertrey ~ take your pick.
Sorry if you are getting tired of seeing Grunge Me,
but I am having a lot of fun playing with this set!
It's also almost impossible to mess up with.
I smudged orange on the left side of the card, but just added the orange dots,
and you would never know (if hadn't told you!).
It's not the perfect visual triangle, but its probably okay for grunge ;).

Supplies ~
Stamps:  PTI Grunge Me
Paper:  SU Very Vanilla
Ink:  SU Basic Gray, Poppy Parade & Pumpkin Pie
Additional Supplies:  Various brads from my stash

CAS ~ Take Three

One more card for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays (the two previous posts are my first two entries).  Sometimes I cannot come up with anything, and sometimes I just can't stop.
This is definitely a case of the latter.
I am also entering this card into the challenge at Color Throwdown
and the retro sketch challenge. I rotated the sketch.

Stocking Up

Stocking up on my thank you cards after the end of the school year exhausted my supply.  This card is for three challenges at Color Throwdown, CAS-ual Fridays, and Make it Monday for the sketch challenges.  This is the third sketch I am using for the Make it Monday, the first two are here and here

Nichole shared some insight into her design process and how she uses random bits of inspiration to create unique sketches as a foundation for some of her projects.

Just For You

One more card today for three challenges at the color throwdown, a sketch challenge at deconstructing-jen., and this week's Make it Monday technique.  The two outside flowers are from the heart border, the small center flower is from the simple circles border - cut in half, the orange ones are from the small scallop border and the large one is from the movers & shakers - poppers die.

Make It Monday #66: Felt Flowers From Border Dies

There seems to be no end to the versatility of basic dies. In our opinion, they are some of the handiest tools to have in your stash. Today, Ashley tests and proves the theory by using her border dies to create amazing floral accents out of felt. Use her technique on your next card to give it some homemade sweetness.
Supplies ~
Stamps:  SU Just Believe
Paper:  PTI White, Hibiscus Burst, Ocean Tides, Soft Stone; My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found -
     Portobello Road
Ink: SU Basic Gray

Colorful Techno Kissing

Here is one more card using Heather's  kissing technique for Make it Monday # 57.  I also used the colors for this week's Color Throwdown and the sketch from Mary Jo at Technostamper.  This is the first card that I really like how the kissing technique worked.  I think that using a much darker ink for the kissing part worked better.  My first two attempts here and here did not have quite enough contrast between the two colors of ink.

The sketch at Technostamper ~
