A Thanksgiving card using the colors at The Paper Players,

the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and since it is CAS, I

will be entering it at Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge.

I had a lot of fall colored felt left over from what I made for

this post using various Studio Calico Mr. Huey sprays.

Yet Another Fall Card

The ladies, Sylvia and Christine, at Addicted to CAS, were so kind to 

choose my cards for Top 3 in the last two challenges, so naturally I

had to play along again for the current one layer challenge.

I am also entering them at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge,

where the current challenge is to keep it clean and simple.

Despite making mostly CAS cards, I find one layer cards very difficult.

I like my die cuts, and truthfully I am not really very good at stamping.

I often go through a lot of cardstock to get a clean stamped image.  I 

think part of my problem is that I have a lot of clear stamps and often 

use Stampin Up! inks. Do you have have a favorite ink for clear stamps?

Harvest Blessings

Belated Happy World Card Making Day!
Two fall cards ~ for challenges at CASology,

Addicted to CAS and CAS(E) this Sketch.
I don't really have any "harvest" type stamps, so I just
used the word "harvest" and some leaves.
I wanted to try something different for the leaves,
so I sprayed light burlap with Mr. Huey's spray mists.
That was difficult to die cut and keep the small pieces from
falling off.  Next I tried spraying felt and was happier with the
results and later how it cut, except that it took FOREVER to dry.
I liked that I was able to get some variations in color.

Dad, It's Your Day

I have several cards for the challenge at The Paper Players to

make a CAS masculine card.  I am also posting at the 

52 Card Pickup.   I made four cards for Father's Day here.

After looking at them for a couple days, I decided on one 

that I wanted to mass produce.  This is a CASE of the first 

of them.  I work in a neonatal intensive care unit and make

cards for the babies to give to their Dads.  Previous cards

that I have made for Father's Day are here.

Grab Life by the Beans

We are in the middle of winter storm Luna.

My son and I shoveled the driveway,

 and by the time we finished we could have started over again :~(.

No point in fighting a losing battle, must mean it's time to stamp :-).

I made a very CAS card for three challenges ~ 

sketch at Less is More,

theme at CASology ~ "Drink," and

technique of paper piecing at Simon Says Stamp.

The coffee cup and "coffee" in the cup are paper pieced.

The beans are fussy cut.

Happy Thanksgiving X 4

Getting ready for Thanksgiving with four cards using the sketch

at CAS(E) this Sketch.  The first two also use the colors at ColourQ,

except I missed that deadline ;).  I've been having fun with some of my 

new Mr. Huey's Color Mists.  They work perfectly to make fall leaves.

For these leaves I used Hot Dog and Taxi and cut them with dies 

from Cuttlebug. I used watercolor paper from Strathmore.

The sentiment is from Harvest Blessings by Craft's Meow.

White paper is by PTI.  Colored paper is by SU.

Harvest Blessings

An Autumn card for challenges at CAS-ual Fridays, Less is More, and Play Date Cafe.
The challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is to make a CAS project inspired by Autumn.
The colors at Play Date Cafe are just perfect for Autumn colors.
At Less is More the recipe is to choose three previous challenges.
I actually chose six:  Week 15 ~ Embossing, Week 25 ~ Button or Ribbon,
Week 41 ~ Leaves, Week 52 ~ Sketch 4,
Week 76 ~ Three (I used three colors), and Week 84 ~ Foliage.
