Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff

Eight cards for four challenges ~ all using the sketch from
CAS(E) this Sketch.  I had a very similar card in mind when
I had to buy the Tinsel 'N Trim set from Reverse Confetti ~
just to use this fun sentiment "Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff."
I love snowflakes and even better ~ glittery snowflakes.  I don't
consider even one of these cards to have traditional Christmas
colors.  I made them for specific people using their favorite
colors.  I also made two for the current color challenge at
Dynamic Duos to use Black and Smoky Slate with the
Dessert Option of Christmas.  CAS-ual Fridays and
week for a CAS Christmas theme.   Sorry, I do not have any
CAS-ual Fridays Christmas stamps.  I went with the
snowflakes on the Christmas tree in the inspiration photo.

Supplies ~ Partial List
Stamp:  Reverse Confetti Tinsel 'N Trim
Paper: PTI White, Glitz & Glitter Bright Solids & Sweet Solids, Patterned Paper Doodlebug Designs
Lily White Sprinkles & Pebbles Basics Ash Chevron, several PTI & SU cardstocks
Ink:  PTI, SU & Memento Tuxedo Black
Dies:  PTI Fancy Flakes & Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Large
Additional Supplies:  Various Ribbons & Rhinestones, PTI Impression Plate, Sizzix & Cuttlebug
     embossing folders

More Baby Shower Thanks

Here is another set of thank you cards made for a baby shower gift.
for their Thanks / Thanksgiving challenge.  My previous post is a
different set of baby thank you's.  Perhaps there was something
in the water seven to nine months ago ~ everyone I know who is
pregnant is having a girl.  I think that using an embossing folder
or texture plate and a large sentiment is enough to make a nice set
of cards to give as a gift.  I usually make eight or twelve and find
that even being a slow cardmaker, I can still finish in a reasonable
amount of time.  I plan on working on more for Christmas gifts.

This is the baby card I made to go along with this gift.

Supplies (abbreviated) ~ If you have questions, I will be happy to answer them.
Stamps: all PTI
Paper:  PTI White, SU Very Vanilla, Regal Rose & Pretty in Pink
Ink:  PTI Hibiscus Burst & SU Chocolate Chip
Dies:  all PTI
Additional Supplies:  PTI & Taylored Expressions Impression Plates, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder,

Harvest Blessings

Belated Happy World Card Making Day!
Two fall cards ~ for challenges at CASology,
Addicted to CAS and CAS(E) this Sketch.
I don't really have any "harvest" type stamps, so I just
used the word "harvest" and some leaves.
I wanted to try something different for the leaves,
so I sprayed light burlap with Mr. Huey's spray mists.
That was difficult to die cut and keep the small pieces from
falling off.  Next I tried spraying felt and was happier with the
results and later how it cut, except that it took FOREVER to dry.
I liked that I was able to get some variations in color.

Supplies ~
Stamps:  The Craft's Meow Harvest Blessings
Paper:  PTI White, SU Tangerine Tango
Ink:  SU Tangerine Tango, Mister Huey's Color Mists ~ Taxi, Hot Dog, Sunshine, Real Red & Letter Jacket
Dies:  PTI Leaf Prints (burlap) & Cuttlebug (felt)
Additional Supplies:  PTI Woodgrain Impression Plate

Before & After

I made five baby shower invitations for a friend to choose
from, so I had four baby shower invites that I did not need.
I was able to change them into thank you cards for her.  I am
where anything goes.

The invitation this one was altered from is posted here.

The primary stamps and dies used are from PTI's  Baby Button Bits.
I'll be happy to answer any questions about supplies.

Big Hugs

A very quick card for the current challenge at CASology,
where the cue word is "free."  I thought of "free as a bird" and
"light as a feather."  This one is for my niece who tore her
ACL, and is facing surgery and a very long recovery.  I
am also entering this at Simon Says Stamp where this
week "anything goes."

Work is crazy busy, and I am working overtime.  I am skipping the
supply list.  I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Not sure if this will be for Halloween or Thanksgiving, so no sentiment yet.
I made it for three challenges ~ color at Dynamic Duos

First Day of Third Grade!

A card for two challenges ending at noon ~ CASology and ColourQ.
I suspect I am definitely in the minority of Moms who are sad
to see the end of summer, and the beginning of the school year.
I hate having to work full time (and sometimes more),
and really enjoy the extra time I have with my son in summer.
School beginning means many things, but definitely the end of
lazy days and a stricter schedule, hence my alarm clock image.
I made a card a few days ago for the ColourQ challenge. I
still can't decide if I like it, so I am not going to link it.
